Terms of Service

Welcome to Balsa Blue. By using this website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

1. About us This website is operated by Lesley Winton, trading as Balsa Blue ("we", "us", "our"), based in Fife, Scotland. You can contact us at sales@balsablue.com

2. Our products All items are handmade, so slight variations in colour, pattern and finish are part of their charm and make each piece unique. Product images are as accurate as possible, but colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen.

3. Prices and payment All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders we've already accepted. Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers.

4. Orders When you place an order you'll receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms we've received your order but does not mean it's been accepted. A contract is formed only when we dispatch your item(s). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock or there's a pricing error — in which case we'll refund you in full.

5. Shipping and returns Delivery is covered in our Shipping Policy and returns in our Returns & Refunds Policy, both of which form part of these terms.

6. Intellectual property All designs, artwork, images and content on this site are the property of Balsa Blue and may not be reproduced, copied or used without our written permission.

7. Liability Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.

8. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of [Scotland], and any disputes will be subject to the [courts of Scotland].
