Originally published in Art – Goût – Beauté, a celebrated French magazine of fashion and decorative arts, this pattern reflects a moment when design was shifting—bridging traditional botanical illustration with the cleaner, more stylised sensibilities of the late 1920s.

Layered above, a lilac acrylic wing introduces a subtle lift of colour, complementing the pink and lilac tones beneath while adding depth and contrast. Light catches the layered surfaces, giving the piece a quiet luminosity without overpowering its softness.
